Aiken, SC Receives $320,000 to Protect Health, Reduce GHG EmissionsPosted on: April 15, 2011 by admin The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today that the city of Aiken, SC will receive $320,000 to develop local strategies to reduce harmful greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improve people’s health. The city of Aiken is among 22 communities from across the country, including three Indian tribes, receiving almost$8.3 million in grants.
